โWe had a very nice stay in room 4. Steve was very welcoming. Everything was perfectly clean. The room itself is a bit dated, but the bed very comfy. The bathroom is fantastic, very spacious and looks like new. The house is very close to many restaurants in downtown area, and to Centennial park by the lake. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning on the patio. Thank you, Steve!โ
โBreakfast was surprisingly good. A lot of extras to what I was expecting to be the usual hotel breakfast included. For example, several milk alternative options, pumpkin seeds, sliced almonds, etc as cereal toppings.โ
โPros: I enjoyed that there were a lot of common area in the property, like the pool, benches and hammocks, grill for bbq, picnic tables etc offering a family environment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Walkable distance to the beach, and also near groceries store and restaurants/fast food.
Cons: Bed wasn't that comfortable and shower shifted from hot and cold randomly.โ
โI have to say that I was impressed with the Travelodge. My room was large and, though the hotel was right next to highway 400, very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the pillows nice and soft, just the way i like them. There was a decent sized fridge and I loved the Keurig coffee maker in my room. The staff was friendly and helpful. โThis is a classic beach 1 motel. Very friendly hosts. Everything is clean but dated. Go in with appropriate expectations for a motel! Right across from beach. Beautiful, clean pool at the back of the property- we didnโt see it at first but asked and given directions and itโs a great spot to relax! So happy we stayed! We will likely stay again!โ
