I stay here and have for 15 years. Since Doubletree acquired the property I was expecting upgrades. Like the carpet and the black out shades that are broken in almost every room I have stayed in. Otherwise the staff is wonderful! So close to both sets of grandkids.

We had a great stay as always! They ran out of Pool towels for a while but it wasn’t a big deal. We enjoyed a great meal at Axels and loved the cookies! Thank you for now offering a nut free option. My son has a nut allergy and it was nice for him to get a cookie upon check in as well.

Nice play to stay if you come for business

This is a nice hotel when you are in town for business. Is 15 to 20 mins away from the city, but it has a very nice restaurant Axels which has nice food and great service!

It was an older building, but very clean and quiet. The pool was nice and they have a large whirlpool and sauna. The location is great, really close to tons of shopping and restaurants and only 5-10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. The staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable, but I like a firm bed. It was nice to lay on a hotel bed and not roll into a hole in the middle. Best of all, it didnt smell like weed in the hallways, which has happened at every other hotel in the mpls area that I've stayed at. Would definitely stay here again.
