“Very nice and relaxing stay”

“The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property. The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...

“This is a beautiful property and so dog friendly! I loved it!”

“It has beautiful views. I loved the heated bathroom floors!”

“Cool place, nice atmosphere short walk to the center of Highlands reasonably priced comfortable rooms and quiet”

“The man at the desk was super nice and helpful. I’d hire him no matter what business I was in.”

“We stayed in The Cabin, which is a large converted pottery studio with a beautiful interior. Two king beds and very roomy. It was a beautiful interior with lots of amenities, such as a refrigerator, (no freezer). Lots a windows with a huge outdoor patio area. The location is fine. Note that Cashiers is a one light town. There is a fairly large grocery store about 5 miles away. You drive most anywhere you need to go. Very nice restaurants nearby. The brewery that is next door is a fun place to...

“Clean rooms nice people they were always asking if u needed help with anything will be using them agin”

“It was perfect for what I needed it for. Very close to downtown (not walkable) and easy to get to neighboring towns. Beds are comfy and the room was clean. Friendly staff. Room smelled a little musty from humidity but that’s expected in an old motel. I would definitely stay again.”

“We loved this property and it was exactly as described. Perfect for couples or for families, lots of outdoor space and a creek to play in. The owner and property manager were very kind and responsive. Highly recommend!”

“needs some TLC, poor limited breakfast”

“Helpful & friendly staff. Good location for exploring the area. Clean and welcoming. Didn’t enjoy the breakfast. Not to my taste.”

“This was the cutest little motel. Bananas were too ripe and the rooms need some updating and maintenance. Otherwise I'd stay there again. It was the hub of everywhere I wanted to go at a reasonable price.”

“We stayed at the cottage for one night. It was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed. The shower was nice! Paul made a wonderful breakfast and told us the cool history of the house. We’d stay again!”

“Beautiful setting. Very friendly and helpful staff. Autumn went out of her way to help us. Can't wait to come back!”
