Customer service was lacking unfortunately.
Check-in was slow but ok. The girl at the desk mentioned a new system being the cause of the delay. There were a few people waiting but only one person behind the desk.
Checkout was actually terrible.
We left early, about 6am. The girl behind the desk had headphones on and didn't remove them until we were right at the desk (she did see us coming). I had to tell her the room number three times in the space of 5 minutes. It took her a while to 'log into the system'. I mentioned we needed to catch a train and that we had paid on arrival. Perhaps she could email me if anything else was needed. She said she couldn't allow us to leave until she checked the room on the system. Frankly, she needs to be taught some manners. Have never had a reply like this! Very disappointing as up until that point, the experience had been great.
I'd probably consider going back but I'd be very mindful of staff and their attitude. "
