“We decided to check out Likuri Island on our first trip to Fiji. We only planned on one night, and were very glad it wasn’t longer. The place isn’t the most convenient to access, requiring a jetty (not included in the cost of stay). Once you’re there, be prepared, it’s pretty rustic. It’s got basics for food and drinks. “Breakfast was awesome and the staff kept on encouraging to have a good breakfast for the day. Very friendly staff and very clean. Only we were not happy on our first day no hot water. We had to shower in the cold water. If they were advised about the maintenance they should have prepared for it before. Otherwise excellent place to stay. Also book a twin room to have a bigger space.”

“When we checked into our room, we were extremely disappointed with the condition of the accommodation. The room had bugs/insects, visible marks and stains, and was not in the condition we expected based on the booking description. This made our stay very uncomfortable and unacceptable. In addition, we were required to pay a FJD $100 bond in cash because the receptionist advised that their EFTPOS machine was not working. We were not given the option to pay by card. “Due to a fllght faux pas we required accommodation but had no booking. The staff commiserate with our predicament and bent over backwards to help us out and suggest alternatives even though the bookings were not their issue or fault. Lovely people work here”

Transfers to and from the airport went smoothly, and the location was great, there’s a large grocery store just around the corner, which was perfect for grabbing a few essentials.
