This is a very nice chamber de notes and is the reason I choose to stay in this style of accommodation. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the house was very comfortable. The area is wonderful for bicycling and I would recommend it for a bicyclist. You wonāt be disappointed

Beautiful, peaceful property in the countryside, only a few minutes from Foix. The proprietress is lovely, and the food is very good. Note the wifi is spotty and a bit slow, but manageable, and there is no air conditioning. Despite these issues, we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing stay at Le Clos Cathala.

Visited Tarascon-sur-Ariege and surrounding area. Food at the hotel's restaurant (Bellevue) was delicious and service was prompt. Also enjoyed the local wines. All staff were very helpful even though their English and our French needed a bit of help (thanks to Lovely Planet translation books). Pricing for accommodation was appropriate. En leur compagnie nous avons fait une visite trĆØs intĆ©ressante et trĆØs instructive de l'histoire du chĆ¢teau et de la rĆ©gion. Notre chambre et la salle de bain Ć©taient trĆØs spacieuses et confortables et avaient pour thĆ©me Sarah Bernhardt. Au matin une jolie promenade dans le parc trĆØs apprĆ©ciĆ©e par notre chienne.
