"Breakfast was really good, selection of breads, cheeses, coffee croissants and more. Hotel rooms are fine but. There was a balcony but I couldn't get the door open. Good size and nice shower. Reasonably convenient but no views, in fact rather uninteresting roof from my room."

"Great location in Brig, less than 10 minutes walk to the station but nicely away from the rather rowdy main square. Staff were very helpful guiding me and making provision for a late arrival due to train delays. Breakfast was simple but tasty. If you are there during the week they have a massive model railway you can visit - unfortunately I was there at the weekend, but it's a good reason for me to go back!"

"Location is ideal, only 10 min walk to train station and bit less to lake. All staff were great. It is a Viking tour hotel so you do get a lot of people staying but the hotel facilities can handle it. Breakfast was a wide range the only criticism is that the hot food isn’t hot. Cold scrambled eggs, bacon. The room we had Mountain View was big enough for a week no issues. Lake maggorie is vast and traveling everywhere on the ferry can get expensive. Worth the money is the Maggiore express on the weekends that take you to Locarno in Switzerland and scenic train back. All in all a lovely 7 days."

"Loved this hotel in the picturesque village of Saas-Fee! Loved the bath robes, breakfast, and clean, airy space. I greatly appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Unfortunately, I had intended to book a hotel in Zermatt and didn't know that lots of hotels in Switzerland are called Schweizerhof--that's my fault not theirs, but just be aware. It's quite far from Zermatt but the village itself is worth exploring."

"Beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean room with TWO verandas! The location felt very relaxed and safe. Hosts were very helpful with changing our reservation and helping us with everything we needed. Breakfast was also fantastic. Definitely recommend for your stay in Baveno!"
