"We had a great stay at Hotel Rey Alfonso X. The location was convenient for almost everywhere we wanted to go, which made sightseeing easy. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. Whenever we put out the sign, housekeeping made up the room quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We were greeted with a complimentary drink and champagne, and we received welcome notes twice during our five-night stay. Those personal touches made our trip feel special. The breakfast was excellent too. There was a wide variety, and the eggs were cooked silky soft. It was so convenient to eat at the hotel before heading out for the day. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who values a great location and a high-quality stay. We will certainly be back!"

"Breakfast was great - lovely fresh fruits, good selection of cheeses, meats, pastries and various bread options.The location was well served with different bus option into the centre- so cheap €1.40 we did walk to the Maria Luisa park about 20 min brisk walk. Only thing pool was closed in Oct and the temperature was 26 -30 which for us coming from Scotland is very warm and would have liked to us it. Great stay slept well and good pillows"

"The pool was the main reason we booked this hotel, I don’t think it was heated when we visited in October so my two boys were chilly but they still had great fun. We had a family room and the beds were really comfortable, huge balcony but the bathroom really needed updating. The local area had fantastic restaurants and cafes and felt safe walking around. We used both buses and taxis to get to the city centre which was really easy. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was a big disappointment so I would not recommend eating in. Overall I would stay again especially as it’s reasonably priced, close to the airport and a nice area"

"Ideal location . Staff were helpful on arrival and with any requests . The room decor was quite traditional , the bathroom was clean and had toiletries and a hairdryer . We didn’t use the pool area but believe it to be good ."
