. The chateau is on a large lot with wooded area vegetable gardens and surrounding gardens as well. It’s an authentic experience. Everyone at the chateau was very accommodating and incredibly helpful. We visited Leonardo da Vinci house near by and other castles. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to return to the wonderful place."

"Great location. All city shops, restaurants and historical sites easily within walking distance. The pool and sunbeds were particularly welcome in the late afternoons on the hot days we stayed there. Fan provided in the room was a bonus (temperatures were exceptionally high)."

"Loved the Chateau! Great staff. Yes, its a little shabby around the edges (but can you imagine the costs to upkeep this building!). It has a lovely charm, the views from the terrace are absolutely stunning. Our room was huge, with a lovely balcony. We enjoyed sitting around the pool. There are tennis courts and also a spa (we didn't use, so can't comment on them). The restaurant is great and we had a wonderful supper the first night, but the only issue is that its a bit too expensive to eat...

"Truly wonderful stay. The Chateau is beautiful, the grounds are idyllic, the pool is fantastic and the restaurant is delicious. The room is very spacious and comfortable. And the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. I'm fact the staff were all terrific! We will stay again and again on our drives down to the south of France."

"We stayed 5 days exploring the Loire valley. Helpful professional staff. Beautiful gardens for reading or picnics. Heated pool a plus. Wonderful Boulangerie just around corner for morning baguette. Edith Artbroc Cafe next door a real find. Best meal we had!"
