โeverything about this property was lovely. only thing, kids could find the gaming console (not that i minded lol) and the ad made it sound like the pool was just outside but infact its a small stroll down the road. still enjoyed our swim etc but was one of the deciding factors to stay here when we thought the pool was right there. But that's nothing major, everything else was as described and beds were comfy. would recommend :) โ
โThis was the latest of many stays at Paradise on the Beach and, as usual, it was excellent. The apartment (#102) was clean and spacious with some water views. All the facilities were fine although having taps and a sink in the kitchen area would mean not having to fill the kettle and wash dishes in the bathroom basin. This aside, we look forward to our next stay at POTB.โ
โLoved the position of the hotel and the pool areas. Our room had a lovely outlook and was spacious but was a tad dated. Overall a great experience though and would definitely return. โ
โPalm Cove Studio Apartments are the cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed at. The walls between the rooms are not very sound proof but we were lucky enough to have quiet neighbours during our stay. Close to the beach and the Surf club. Highly recommended!โ
โIt's such a cozy place to stay. If you consider luxurious and huge resort, then it wouldn't be the one. However, if you find some places where you feel something different and very cozy place, then this would be good choice for you. โ
โGOOD: the main pool for kids and family, restaurant & bar were all good. Room was clean and well-managed. Staffs were all friendly.
BAD: Free wifi was only activated in the lobby (reception area), and was not available in my room. An insect came in my room via the bottom of the door.โ
"I arrived late in the evening from the Gold Coast to Cairns, feeling tired after a long travel day. But the warm welcome I received made all the difference. The male staff member not only contacted me in advance but also opened the gate and greeted me with such kindness and professionalism โ better than most 5-star hotel receptions Iโve experienced.
The room was spotless โ so clean and well-maintained that I almost felt it was too good to enjoy alone. The cleanliness was truly top-tier, everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen was in near-new condition, perfectly organised, and stocked with care.
The next morning, the female staff member kindly helped me book a tour, which turned out to be a fantastic experience. I was also offered a welcome coffee, which was a lovely personal touch that added to the comfort of my stay.
Although the location is a bit far from central Cairns, it turned out to be a perfect base for visiting Trinity Beach, Palm Cove, and even the crocodile farm โ far better positioned for those trips than staying in the city centre.
