โExcellent service from Joe our host. He sent a WhatsApp message before we arrived to help us find the place. Helped with bags in the morning and was a mine of local knowledge. Also provided an excellent breakfast and a comfortable bed. โ
โStaying at Ballyvolane was like being in an Irish historical novel. It was amazing in every aspect: food, bed comfort, and especially the staff. They made us feel so welcome. We would recommend Ballyvolane to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in a beautiful manor house!โ
โI loved the location, the front desk person was sort of busy and preoccupied. Being close to the ocean was a huge win with little kids. The bedrooms and water service delivery was great. We loved the pool, but the hours are weird for kids. โ

The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us.
There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace.
Lismore is an extremely quiet town. There are pubs but no customers, that we saw. Im assuming summertime is the busy season.
