This is a very nice, family run hotel. Food in the evening was excellent, as was breakfast. The building is quite old, but it works. The area is very nice, and the water is very close by. If you're wanting to stay in this area of the island, we would recommend this hotel.

My room was awesome - had a balcony with a view of the harbor. I was in Sweden for the Ironman Triathlon in Kalmar so I appreciated the ample space in my room to lay out my gear, work on my bike, etc. The restaurant in the hotel is awesome and attracts people people from around the town, not just the people staying there. During my 5-night stay, I ate 5 meals there, not including the free breakfast. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, especially the owner. I loved being able to walk down to the harbor and around town. Its is around 35 minutes by car to downtown Kalmar, so quick access to the city, with a much more relaxing environment.

Lovely time at the hotel, my wife and I were touring and visiting family, our hotel hosts were great, even helped us with laundry in the middle of a long trip. Highly recommended.

Size of family room was ok. However, they were too stingy to provide hand wash to be used as body wash? We had to move one and only bottle between shower room and toilet. For the price we paid, this is not really good hotel standard. Will not recommend.

Fick ett fint rum m egen ingång, nytt o fräscht! Trevlig ”annorlunda” personal, glada, personliga, lite hejsan hoppsan i en väldigt positiv mening! Inte helt som förväntat – små besvikelser under vi

Vi bokade detta boende med höga förväntningar efter att ha läst väldigt fina recensioner, men tyvärr levde hotellet inte riktigt upp till dem. - Rummet vi fick var ett "dubbelrum" med två ihopskjutna enkelsängar, vilket inte alls är samma sak som en riktig dubbelsäng. Vi fick veta att det endast finns ett rum med dubbelsäng på hela hotellet. - Duschen saknade duschtvål, trots att schampo och balsam fanns – ett märkligt och opraktiskt val. - Under natten hördes ett regelbundet och störande ljud som vi aldrig lyckades identifiera, vilket påverkade vår sömn negativt. - TV:n på rummet var föråldrad och det gick inte att använda appar såsom streamingtjänster – vilket idag känns som en självklarhet. - Vi hade i förväg kontaktat hotellet och bett om att vårt bord i restaurangen skulle pyntas med en liten flagga för att uppmärksamma ett födelsedagsfirande, men detta hade tyvärr inte ordnats. - Varken rummet eller restaurangen hade fin havsutsikt som man kunnat hoppas på – utsikten bestod främst av en parkeringsplats och en tråkig byggnad. 👎 Sammantaget blev det en mindre besvikelse. Det fanns absolut positiva delar, men i kombination med bristerna hade vi hoppats på något mer minnesvärt och omhändertagande.

Nettes kleines Hotel direkt am Hafen. Man hat als Hotelgast immer einen Platz im Restaurant sicher. Das ist ist Regional und nicht wie in anderen Restaurants Massenabfertigung. Das Frühstück könnte etwas mehr Auswahl vertragen und wenn etwas leer ist sollte man das schneller auffüllen. Ein Kaffeeautomat für andere Getränke wie schwarzen Kaffee ( der ist übrigens nichts für schwache Herzen) wäre noch ein Vorschlag zur Verbesserung

Bra, men beskrivning gav för höga förväntningar.

Det hade kunnat vara hur bra som helst, men sett till framförallt beskrivning av rummet, så blev vi besvikna. Ljudisolerat blir det inte utan lister runt fönstret och dörren - det lät som att andra gäster i korridoren på väg in till oss och det är inte konstigt att det med centimeterstor glipa runt hela fönstret lät som att måsarna och svalorna bodde i rummet. Mörklagt blir det inte med en persienn som dessutom inte går hela vägen ner. En kuddmeny består av mer än ett val mellan två kuddar för mig. Men hade det inte stått i beskrivningen av rummet och varit bidragande tillvalet av hotell så hade jag varit nöjd. Fint, rent rum och mjuk säng. Pannkaksoset i korridoren kom inte in i rummet och AC:n funkade bra. Badrummet var lite slitet sett till priset; en skrapa varit bra i duschen - nu blev hela golvet blött bla pga kort duschdraperi. Det är fräscht att byta toaborste ocv toasits regelbundet. Frukosten hade inga varma inslag, men olika färska bröd, olika goda pålägg, yoghurt mm var bra! Saknade lite mer grönsaker och lite osockrade bär (frysta hade funkat fint). Personalen var i alla fall supertrevlig och det är mycket värt ♡ Och middagen, där vi valde olika matiga galetter, var toppen! Som sagt då var det nog bara förväntningarna som blev fel sett till beskrivningen. En annan text hade givit mig en mycket bättre upplevelse.
