Nice people, nice simple place, convientely located in downtown. I wont return because they did not provide the room I reserved online and gave me a much smaller and less comfortable space.

What a nightmare
The place was very beautiful also de room but it has tons of dust plus no air conditiones. Thwy had a fat that was too lound that we couldn't sleep. My mom got sick because of that i don't recommend this place

Liked - very good price for a basic very clean boutique type hotel which also included a very good breakfast. Disliked - A bit noisy when other guests were eating breakfast or coming back late in the evening.

Todo estuvo excelente, muy limpio y el personal muy amigable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Está bien ubicado pues esta cerca del centro pero a buena distancia para no tener bulla. Los desayunos deliciosos y las habitaciones amplias.

Great Hotel
It was great! Awesome customer service, very comfortable beds and centric location, walking distance from Downtown Morelia. Will definitely stay there again.

Welcoming hotel close to the historic city centre
The staff were the highlight of our three day stay. They couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. They arranged our tour to see the Mariposa butterfy reserve in El Rosario. The room was clean & tidy and the continental breakfast with fresh local produce was very tasty. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in a smaller , low-key and quiet hotel venue.

Great stay in Michoacan at Mesón de los Remedios
We spent 3 nights here in Feb. 2018. The hotel is about 6 blocks from the main square in the historic centre but it's an easy walk on a main street. From the outside the hotel is extremely plain but it's very nice inside. The staff at check in and throughout the stay were fantastic. Alberto was a great help. He speaks English. He helped us select and company for a day trip, arranged our taxi to the bus station and made sure that our breakfast was available slightly early as we had an early bus to catch on our last day. The room was very clean. It did not have a window, only a skylight. Most rooms in the hotel have windows on an interior courtyard or skylights. The king size bed was very comfortable. One note, "Junior Suite" is a standard room. Something lost in the translation I think. The free continental breakfast of fruit, yogurt, granola, toast and coffee was excellent and wonderfully presented. It also came with a juice we could not identify. When we enquired, we were told it was guava! Delicious. You could also order off the menu at an additional charge. We did not do this but the food we saw others order looked very good. We plan to go back next year to explore more of the state of Michoacán and will stay here again.

Great Choice
Great place to stay in Morelia as it is on a quiet street but only a few blocks from the center. The complementary continental breakfast is decent and you can order from a regular breakfast menu if you want more food. The only negative, and we have found this with other hotels in historic buildings, is that soundproofing is not great - not really a problem unless you want to sleep in. This is our go-to hotel when we stay in Morelia.

This is a very basic hotel, no safe, a little older. All rooms face inside to a courtyard type setting. It is extremely clean and the staff take great pride in keeping it clean and ensuring guests have everything they need. The walls are a bit thin and noise carries, but it didn't stop us from having a good sleep. Our room came with a continental breakfast ~fruit, yogurt and coffee~ hot breakfast is available at an additional cost, and it is excellent! Hotel is no more than a 5 minute walk from the main square. For the price, this is excellent value and we will definitely stay again when in Morelia

Charming Hotel Close to the Center
The hotel has a traditional feel which I loved. From the outside through the courtyard and into the room. Check in was smooth, staff were helpful. Room was spacious and clean but no a/c or heat. You can opt to opening the windows for cool air to come in but invite more mosquitoes in the process. Water pressure was good with hot water. Included breakfast was just fruit bowl and coffee but you can order a la carte all with very reasonable prices. The hotel is a little walk to the square, very closeby in my opinion. Overall, loved this hotel esp in the morning when it's cool, you open the window, look out or sit in the courtyard for a coffee and desayuno. Highly recommended and will stay again!!

Good, economical hotel.
Great economical hotel within the historic center of Morelia and an easy walking diistance to the main central square. The rooms can be a bit noisy but the hotel is in a quiet area so the noise level was not an issue after 11. It is a good choice and we have stayed there several times.

Local charm in Morelia's Centro Historic
Hotel is located in a character filled historic building in the historic center of Morelia. The staff is very helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Delicous fruit platter included for breakfast. The very sweet cook in the kitchen for a nominal charge will prepare a more substantial mexican style breakfast if preferred. Clean, comfortable and authentic.

It was disappointing arriving and having to struggle a bit to demonstrate that in fact I had made the reservation. The clerk assigning rooms in the morning shift somehow overlooked my reservation. The direct impact was that we got a room under the segment we had choose and paid for. Looking at the bright side they did make an effort not to left us without a room

The room had a king size bed and nice cabinet work. The channel selection on the TV included English language channels. The bathroom was shower only and had hot water. The city had dug up the sidewalk outside the entrance to the hotel so the entry wasn't the best. However,farther up the street where the work was already done that it will be very nice once done. The location is about 4 blocks from the main square and cathedral. A light breakfast is served in the morning. The eating area has open air exposure so I found it a little chilly. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and would recommend it.

A short walk to the action.
We stayed here twice and for some reason we're upgraded from what we had paid for the first time to a bedroom loft arrangement. The second bed didn't add anything but the bath with jets, extra space, larger tv, and quieter location were nice. The second time the simpler room was perfectly adequate but disappointing by comparison. The first room should have been about $77can. and the second was about $58. I would certainly stay again. Staff were pleasant and helpful (limited English), good location and nice fruit, yogurt, granola dish and toast for breakfast (included). Then go up to the square for a decent cup of coffee?

I just spend two wonderful weeks in Morelia. This hotel really enhanced my visit to the city. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was clean and went along with the colonial feel of the city. I would totally recommend it.

our stay here was excellent. we were greeted cheerfully and escorted to a neat very clean room . the bathroom featured large towels, toiletries and plenty of hot water. a continental breakfast of coffee, toast, a tall glass of juice and a large fruit plate topped with cream and granola was served daily. wifi is in the common areas of the hotel. the location was perfect. the hotel was just a few blocks from the center of town in a quiet neighborhood near many attractions, great shopping and restaurants all a short stroll from the accommodation. buses and taxi services are plentiful. tours can be arranged by the hotel or at the central plaza. we enjoyed ourstay and will surely return. w

Hotel was in a great location and the staff was very pleasant. The rooms were inexpensive and sufficient but not all of the rooms are air conditioned. They are also small, at least the one we stayed in was small.
