"Going to Mount Dora, this place is a must stay. It's a historic hotel so keep that in mind. The toilet is really small and the bathroom is that of a Hotel built in the last century. It all adds to the charm of this beautiful and historic place. Only bad thing I would say is that they should invest in better beds. The place is beautiful, unique, authentic, and definitely the place you want to stay at if you are visiting Mount Dora for the first time. The restaurant was very good and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. "
"Fortunately, the lady at check-in (sorry, didn't get her name) let me know on arrival that I'd accidentally booked a smoking room and was able to change our reservation. This was a very basic room, clean, frig, microwave, ice maker on premises. No coffee maker, no toiletries. There were no blankets on the beds or stored in closet or drawers. The coverlet was as thin as a sheet and slipped off several times during the night. So, yes, the a/c kept the room cool. I did notice Dunkin' delivery to rooms in the morning. No frills, just a place to sleep. Suited our purpose."

8/10 Good
"A little better maintenance of bathroom needed, toilet and toilet lids loose, tub not completely white, rust noted. The hotel was cleaner in public areas, however the rooms need areas painted and fixed to match. Staff is pleasant. Breakfast is good! I loved having tea and coffee available at all times. "
"This is an efficient and clean hotel and this was our second stay. The studio rooms are spacious and our room has always been clean. The staff is always helpful and courteous. Parking is easy and a short drive to downtown shopping."
