"The breakfast was very different than a typical American breakfast. Everything fresh, lots of vegetables and healthy food. The staff was wonderful and it was conveniently located inside the old city. Great restaurant just around the corner called The Oak. Lots of shopping around and the roof top is wonderful for views and time together. Most of the staff are family and were some of the nicest people we met during our stay. Also listen to Amir the man running the place. He can get you tours and taxis a lot cheaper than you on your own. "

"My family has immensely enjoyed numerous stays at the Orient, particularly celebrating the holiday of Succot here this year and for the past four years. "I was very happy with these accommodations. They were clean, and the staff was so helpful and pleasant! If I needed anything, I had it literally within minutes. It is not a traditional hotel (no front desk reception, but instead there is a person to contact via What’s App who is responsive and answers immediately). There are beautiful rooms to stay in, right across from Mamilla. Excellent location, and the price is significantly less expensive than the other hotels in the area. I highly recommend."

"The hotel is directly across the street from the Great Synagogue in Jerusalem. Super convenient for the holidays. They offer meals for all of the holiday days.Shabbat elevators. Kosher. Services in the hotel itself if you don’t want to go across the street. They provided the Yahrzeit candle that I let for my parents."
