Motherwell is a great town to stay in if your goal is to travel around Scotland. The train station is only a few minute walk from the Bentley hotel, lots of bars, restaurants, shopping centers and parks all in walking distance. Staff were great and very helpful, scan giving us recommendations on places to go.

The hotel looks nice from the outside, but once inside the building it is clear to see that it desperately needs refurbished. Positives Clean bedding and towels. Travel size shampoo, shower gel and hand soap were provided. The bed was very comfortable. Very friendly, helpful manager. Convenient location, close to the train station and shops/bars. Tea/coffee facilities. Negatives The room was very dated and the en-suite bathroom was not very appealing with its tiny shower cubicle, lack of extractor fan or window, sliding door that doesn't close properly and general lack of upgrade. The room and en-suite looked quite grubby, but may have been due to the room being so dated rather than cleanliness. We were only staying for one night and as long as the bedding was clean we were okay. I could not have done more than one night. Just to note, there was some building work being done during our stay, so they may be intending to tackle the rooms next. Would I stay again... Only if the rooms were upgraded.

Clean and comfortable, super close to motherwell train station and shops. Super fantastic for the minimalist. The owner, Liam is working hard on renovating the kitchen at the moment and making improvements as he's only had the hotel for half a year. Super friendly guy, always making sure we didn't need anything. I felt very comfortable there during my stay.

Very near to the local shops and luckily Wetherspoons because no breakfast was available at the Bentley Hotel. I only saw one staff member who seemed to do everything except clean the bedrooms. If the Hotel finishes its refurbishment the I would probably stay there again.
