“Nach einem Volontäreinsatz in Vilanculos blieb das Team noch für eine Nacht in der Vila do Paraiso. Paradiesisch ist es da wirklich. Der Bruch von der ärmlichen Stadt in diese luxuriöse Umgebung war schon gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber wir wurden sehr herzlich und persönlich empfangen. Der Service war einfach super und das Angebot mit Pool, Strand und Essen ebenfalls. Die Villa war top. Alles in einem super empfehlenswert für einen entspannenden Aufenthalt in einem wunderschönen Land.”

“The communication regarding the transfer to the apartment was excellent, and the manager was very responsive. The location is beautiful - amazing view of the ocean, close to the beach, nice swimming pool. The apartment was also very clean and the appliances and general amenities were nice. The structure could use some maintenance (window could not shut because wood was swollen, counters cracked...). But with some general maintenance would be very nice.”

“Veldig fint rom, med egen kjøkkenkrok og balkong. Frokosten var OK, med et meget stort utvalg kaker:) Noe problemer under innsjekk, da de ikke fant betalingen min før etter litt for lang tid. Bra lokasjon. Mitt favoritthotell i Maputo! :) Bare noen få solsenger ved bassenget, men ettersom ingen andre gjester syntes å være interessert i sol og bading hadde jeg hele bassenget for meg selv! Ypperlig! ”

“There was no airport pickup, swimming pool, or nearby beach, and the wifi would come and go, but the apartment was large, clean and comfortable, and the owner's daughter (who is soon to be the chef when the restaurant opens) is delightful.”

the worst accommodation of my life
"My first impression of the hotel was neat and nice. However, it was very difficult for me that ceiling if bathroom is leaking and the air conditioner didn't work properly during my stay. Although they moved me to a normal room, the process of moving it was very annoying. Breakfast wasn't much of a variety, but it tasted good. The worst part, was that the housekeeper searched my bag and stole $200 when I was out of room, and complained to the hotel about the theft, but they responded irresponsibly that the hotel was not officially responsible for the loss of customer belongings. I simply don't understand why the hotel isn't supervising the deviant behavior of hotel staff If you're going to stay in this hotel, please be aware that there's a risk of theft at any time."
