Stayed here to go to Oktoberfest. Really liked the location. Parking fee is separate from the hotel fees and located in underground garage. Breakfast had good selection of food.

OK if business in Schwabing but not for tourists

I would not have picked this location for our leisure trip but we were part of a group tour and this was our last hotel. It's in the business area. It is beside offices of Amazon, etc so if you're on a business trip, it's good. But as a tourist, it's far from transportation unless you take a Bolt / Uber. Trains are a good 12-15 minute walk. Buses stop about 300 meters away but it's not that often. Hotel itself is standard IBIS - clean, comfortable, reasonably priced.

The hotel is located out of the city centre in a newish neighbourhood with large businesses around. The staff were really helpful and kind and very efficient. The room furnishings are not the newest but not in bad condition either, but the room could do with a more modern makeover. The bathroom floor could have been a bit cleaner. Carpet in room had some stains, the heavy metal shower tap came off while I was showering and nearly hit my foot! The shower drain was left partially open which I can only assume to allow for better drainage. The towels were really thin and upon arrival only body towels (and no hand towels) were provided.

My family and I stayed at the Ibis for the Eurocup opening game and it was the perfect stay for our trip. The hotel has wonderful staff, a nice restaurant and coffee bar, excellent breakfast, and comfortable rooms. We were happy to find a shopping plaza with restaurants a short walk away, and the location was convenient for local transportation around Munich. We had a very memorable stay at the Ibis!
