Good place to stay, whatever the hours.

Great stay, only an overnighter and unfortunately due to flights arrived late, but really straight forward communication with the hotel, via email and phone and the room was available, spotless and clean and comfortable, the breakfast was simple but tasty and it made the journey to Munkebo super easy

Munkebo is a lovely place. However we are both in our mid seventies and have slight mobility issues and were offered a room on the first floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs ourselves. The receptionist was not very responsive when I asked if only upstairs was available but continued to just walk upstairs. The room was very adequate and we really enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant. Next day we needed to check out early to be able to return our rental car in Copenhagen and at 7:30 am there was no one at the desk to check us out. Breakfast starts at that time so the morning kitchen person was kind enough to let us pay the bill. He told us the receptionist would not arrive until 8 am. As this is an upscale establishment I would have expected better service in this area.

Munkebo Kro

What an amazing place. This extremely well maintained old farm is now acting as restaurant and inn with very classic and tasty rooms. The food, service and atmosphere are all fantastic. Views, yard and gardens are lovely too. Even the weather was good 😊

Kroen ligger rigtig fint, og er også hyggelig og velholdt. Men når man booker et værelse med dobbeltseng, forventer jeg ikke at der er samlet 2 enkelt senge med en kløft i midten. Rengøringen bør også øve sig, og huske guilanderne af spindelsvæv i loftet næste gang. Den helt store nedtur var dog morgenmaden. Røræg der næsten var flydende, kold kaffe på kanden, den var tilgengæld så tynd at det også kunne være lige meget. Det varme æggene ikke havde fået, det gælder også de kolde blødkogte æg havde bacon så rigeligt haft glæde af. Det var faktisk uspiseligt. Sløvt udvalg af kedeligt brød, ca. 10 stykker melon der var så tørt af det med tydelighed ikke var lavet den morgen. Generelt er pinligt udvalg. De kan ihvertfald ikke v ære et prisskilt på 1500 kroner for en overnatning, det er helt sikkert. Tænker ikke jeg kommer igen.

Har lige været på weekend. Helt fantastisk. Dejlig mad, søde og venligt personale. Lækkert værelse.. En service i top, kan varmt anbefales til andre. Vil også lige slå et slag for Munkebos “ miniby”. Et sted der er drevet af frivillige. En modelby af Mukebo, og dens historie.

Dejligt hus med venligt personale. Morgenmaden var fin nok, særligt nogle af juicerne. Kunne godt drømme om noget mere hjemmelavet, men altså helt okay. Kunne godt komme igen og spise kromad, som var gået på Juleferie, da jeg var gæst
