"We arrived in Venice late by train and it was tricky to get to the Hyatt via waterbus but we figured it out (line 5.2 then 4.1 at F. Nove). We booked the suite with canal view (amazing room with its own elevator!). When we got in there was no hot water and the front desk staff advised there was a boiler malfunction and it was being addressed. They said max 20mins for hot water. "Very nice traditional Italian hotel. Decor and furnishings are old-school elegant. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom is very modern and there is plenty of hot water. Room was very clean but a bit musty. There are nice open terraces with comfortable seating. Location is great - just a short walk to the vaporetto stop. Murano is wonderful - more quiet than San Marco, very quaint, but with some excellent restaurants.The biggest shortcoming was very weak wifi - we sometimes had to sit in the corridor to...

"Old world charm with modern amenities like private baths and a lovely breakfast included. It was the perfect send off having coffee on the Grand Canal. Staff was friendly and polite. I did ask about airport transfer and was only given two pricy options, I would also have appreciated something along the lines of "...also the bus station is a less than 10 minute walk with an express bus." That is my only ding...but I get it and it's more a buyer beware comment. I was there one night and I really loved the space and Venice!"
