โWe had an excellent stay at Les Secrets des Loges in Calais. The room was very clean with coffee and tea making facilities, bottled water, toiletrees and very comfy bed. Laurent and Nathalie were so friendly and welcomed us into their guest house, which is also their home with great warmth and kindness. โWe stay at this hotel a few times a year as a midway stop off.
It has really nice staff, many speak english but even the staff who don't are friendly and we find a way to communicate.
It is always nipping clean, nice towels and linens.
It does breakfast and dinner as extras and it always looks smashing๐

โI have stayed in this Hotel many times now, with my wife, my children and alone - it is the first place past the tunnel and does not look appealing from the outside. In fact it looks like something from the 1970s - but do not let that put you off - The staff, the flexibility make up for the look. The staff are what makes it- want a drink at 1am, no problem, want a pizza for the kids, no problem - want to practice some French- they will speak French even though their English is probably better...
โDue to our vehicle breaking down we needed a place to stay while the vehicle was fixed. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful, helping us source a garage, making us feel comfortable and welcome the whole time. We found that local buses are free, so we still had opportunities to explore the area, though we loved the walking too. We would highly recommend this hotel. โ
