“Food and service was exceptional the room was spotless a really nice relaxed weekend. I feel they sell themselves short a little with how good the food is, there isn’t much detail or pictures on the site but its definitely a big selling point ”

“What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. “Left each morning before breakfast so nice to be offered a takeaway sausage sandwich, thank you. Got a couple of evening walks and pre-warned about possibility of closed restaurant if quiet but other options not required as lovely and busy. ”

“I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). ”
