"The property was recently refurbished, so it was in very good condition. However, parking is extremely limited. Check in is automated so there is no front desk staff. You're supposed to get a Check-in code prior to arriving to enter in a machine to get your key. I received my code the day I was checking out-2 days later. Fortunately I was able to chat with Expedia, they contacted the hotel owner, and luckily the caretaker showed up shortly to get us access. In the instance Expedia saved the day."

Friemily Pool Villa & Hotel

"The hotel itself is beautiful and the facilities are nice, but the location was a major disappointment for me. I was traveling alone without a car, and the hotel was much more isolated than I had expected when I booked it. There is very little within walking distance — no convenient restaurants, convenience stores, or easy access to a beach or other places to visit. More importantly, the roads around the hotel do not have sidewalks, so I did not feel safe walking along them. The hotel staff also confirmed that walking to nearby restaurants or attractions was not recommended. As a result, I had to use Kakao Taxi every time I wanted to go anywhere, including getting back to the bus terminal. This quickly adds extra cost and makes the stay much less convenient if you do not have a car. I had originally booked two nights, but I decided to leave after only one night and return to Seoul earlier than planned. For someone with a car who is looking for a quiet and secluded place, this hotel may be a good choice. However, for a solo traveler who relies on public transportation and likes to be able to walk to restaurants, the beach, shops, or simply go for a walk, I would not recommend this location."
