"Era presentato come monolocale con angolo cottura, quindi, non essendoci ristoranti o locali in cui poter mangiare nei dintorni, ci siamo procurati del cibo da cucinare. Appena accesa la piastra a induzione, si è sentito un botto, come un rumore di contatore che salta. Da quel momento non abbiamo più avuto a disposizione né la piastra, né il frigo che evidentemente erano collegati. Ce la siamo cavata fortunatamente con il nostro fornello da campeggio, senza il quale non avremmo potuto mangiare....

"My stay was wonderful! The hotel's location near the train station and cruise dock was ideal. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and a quiet, dark room ensured a restful stay. The only drawback was the lack of bedside power outlets."

"The view is outstanding and the hotel and lobby are beautiful. The antiques are wonderful and the museum tour was fabulous! Great food. We took the short King’s Road hike and it was fabulous! Connections to and from the hotel are well- coordinated however the 11:55 bus to catch the 1:05 Voss to Oslo train was too tight for comfort however we made it with 30 seconds to spare."

"This is a mountain lodge - rustic conditions outside, but you'll find a very comfy bed on the inside. Stayed in the hotel and had two twin beds with comforters. I am hot-blooded so the Comforter was a bit much for me, but my wife was cold with one, so she asked for another. Shower was excellent and powerful! Dinner was excellent and the breakfast was a Nordic continental. Cured Fish, Cold Cuts/Cheese, H.B.Eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, home baked bread and jams, etc. Healthy and it will keep you full while hiking. A bit out of the way, but isn't that what we are looking for in the wilderness? If it wan't so far from the US, I would be staying here on all of my hiking adventures."
