Nahampoana Reserve Tours

A male Collared Brown Lemur inspects visitors in the trees at the Nahampoana Reserve. Four types of lemur can be found within the reserve, though the chances of seeing them all in one visit would be very slim. Most of them are used to seeing people so will get fairly close to check you out. If you can't see them, you'll hear them in the trees above you! The fruit you can see hanging in the tree is Jackfruit, a bizarre mix of banana and pineapple with a creamy texture. You can find it in a number of tropical destinations around the world, it's delicious.

Verraux's Sifaka's are very agile in the trees but when it comes to travelling via the ground they break into a mix of hopping/dancing.
