"Large pool, really attractive, well attended grounds. Secluded & remote with a lovely sandy beach directly in front. Nice & quiet, but very thin walls between units so you could hear every word your neighbours said. Culture night feast & kava celebration were great. Unfortunately other meals were a bit disappointing. Long way from Nadi, but convenient distance to Suva. Excellent beach, excellent snorkelling."

"The property was a little neglected. We had trouble getting ANY towels. No towels in our room and no towels at the pool. We finally got pool towels after about an hour(around 12noon) and used them in the room until we finally got room towels at 7pm. We ate at the restaurant and the view is beautiful and the food was great. The bure we stayed in was comfortable."

"We have returned to the Uprising after 6 years. The staff are still genuinely lovely and the place still looks beautiful But at a closer look, I’d say it needs some TLC. In our villa, half the light bulbs didn’t work. The outdoor shower crusted with build up. The sliding door handle falling off. We had a wonderful Lovo traditional evening with live show. All in all still a good, affordable option in Pacific Harbor"
