"Shanti Samui was a perfect place to unwind. The staff is what made it such an unforgettable stay. They were so kind and helpful. We were just a short walk from the beach and some delicious restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant on the beach. The pool and the rooms were spotless and all surrounded by coconut palms. We were a group of 4 and all of us agree that we highly recommend Shanti Samui. You will love it!"

"The most amazing experience, a cozy resort nested in the jungle. Coffee on the patio while listening to the elephants in the morning. Clean rooms, family owned, beautiful property, happy people. "When we arrived at the resort after a long taxi ride, we received a fantastic welcome from the staff. Martin (the Guest Manager) quickly seated us at a table in the lounge, where we were served a refreshing drink and cold towels. He took care of the entire check-in process there and explained how everything works at the resort. While we were waiting for our room to be ready—we arrived well before check-in—we were served afternoon tea. The rooms at this resort offer a spectacular view, as it is built along a mountainside overlooking the ocean. We were completely overwhelmed. The staff at this resort are absolutely wonderful. Everyone makes sure you have everything you need and is always happy to stop for a friendly chat, which makes the experience feel very personal. They remember what we usually order and ask the next time if we would like to have the same again. Examples of staff groups we interacted with include the lounge, breakfast, reception, traffic control, housekeeping, gardening, transport/shuttle, restaurant, and bar staff. Every single one of them is outstanding."

"Check-in was a little awkward. Lobby closed at 8pm and we arrived at 8:30pm. Luckily I was able to call phone number on door and night guard let us in. Room was clean, we just needed an overnight stay for an early morning event."
