“The third day of my stay the electricity went out. They did not have an adequate generator to address this. Staff acted like there was nothing that could be done. Electricity was out for the majority of the day.”

“The location advertised was problematic. It also shows it is in Dehradun which is over 30 miles away. For me, this caused problems with my taxi as I wanted to go to Rishikish (it is also advertised being in Rishikesh), whereas the taxi driver complained of it being far away in Dehradun (near Jolly Grant airport)”

“The view is anazing. Everything else is not so good. This is the 4th and last visit. It has been getting worse and worse. I had to buy Detol and cloths to clean the bathroom, it smelt mouldy. The 2 boys tried to be helpful but the hotel is being run down. They have outsourced the food so you cant just buy Chi. You have to buy food with it and on Tuesday they wanted me to break my fast so I could have Chi. Very sad.”

“Property is beautifully located on the river front with river views from the room and relatively quiet surroundings. Staff was friendly, my big disappointment was rooms were not sound proof, so could clearly hear people talking and kids crying in the other room as if it was happening in my room.”

“Location is amazing… very peaceful and right next to the ghat, which connects to Triveni Ghat. Perfect for aarti or just sitting by the river at night. But the room description is misleading, especially for the price you pay. They mention “lake view with balcony,” and honestly, I don’t understand what made them write lake view—there is no lake, it’s the Ganga river. Also, there is no private balcony in any room, just a common one outside the main lobby. So book accordingly and don’t expect a...
