The staff was very nice but the property overall is tired and in dire need of renovation and upgrades. The menu in the restaurant is limited and the food is average at best. We had a room with a balcony which had peeling paint and mismatched furniture. The bathroom was minuscule; very poor lighting and the make up mirror was mounted over the toilet, so low on the wall it was useless. There was no bath mat or anything to prevent slipping in the bathtub!
On the plus side, the location in the French Quarter was great, close to everything and the bed/pillows super comfortable!
This property is not up to the caliber of other Omni Hotels I have stayed at but if you can deal with some of the drawbacks, the location and nice staff might make it worth consideration.
