"This hotel is a clear 8 out 10. Amazing location. Great hotel roof bar. Comfortable bed and decent TV. Big, comfy lobby. No wait at front desk. Water pressure was very strong and hot water came quickly. A/C was very good but a little noisy. The decor is cool retro. All that said, it is an old hotel and in need of updates to keep up with the younger ones. There is paint peeling and some of the common areas (eg elevators) are a little dirty. But. None of that impacted our comfort or stay. Some people complained of no coffee maker but there is a Starbucks just steps from lobby. Would stay here again for sure, but would not seek it out."
