El lugar está en una colonia que se ve algo peligrosa. Las personas no nos indicaron que hacer para llegar a hacer el cheking, no teníamos clave ni nada. Tocamos y nos contestaron nunca. Llamamos por teléfono y nos contestó un señor que a las 2:era la entrada, esperamos a las 2 y nadie abría, llamamos como tres veces al señor y decía que ya iba y cuando al fin abrieron, la persona salió de dentro del edificio, como si nada. No había jabón, shampoo ni toallas.

We booked as an emergency for a student whose flight was cancelled. He ubered there from the airport the property was vacant and the number in the reservation was disconnected. We were given a refund but lost two Ubers and the student slept at the airport.

I booked this property expecting a villa, based on how it was advertised. When I arrived, I discovered that it was actually a three-bedroom house where the individual rooms were being rented separately to different guests. This was not what I understood I was booking and was a significant difference from the type of accommodation I expected. Because the property did not match my expectations based on the listing, I decided not to stay and immediately requested a refund. Unfortunately, the owner refused to issue one. Travelers should be aware of the setup before booking. If you are expecting a private villa or private three-bedroom accommodation, I strongly recommend confirming whether you are renting the entire property or only an individual room in a shared house before paying. Clear and accurate information about the type of accommodation is extremely important, and I would not have made this reservation had I understood the actual arrangement beforehand.

Room was Clean and tidy, Staff was welcoming, easy street parking. Beats my expectation. I'll definitely come again. I highly recommend. I forgot to mention the absolute quietness, just what I needed.

Only plus side of this place is being able to get a room in a pinch and it's right by the airport. Otherwise, arrived and staff was nowhere to be seen so we had been stuck outside and was only let inside by someone else staying there. Took owner about 40 minutes to arrive and after checking in, which was just the owner taking a picture of my ID on his phone, the owner demanded $150 in cash only as a deposit that we would get back on check out. You're getting a bedroom in an apartment with multiple bedrooms so there's a shared living space/bathroom with strangers. Also no towels so don't plan on showering unless you bring it yourself. Ended up leaving a day early and just texted the owner we were leaving, didn't even bother asking for a refund or the cash deposit back given the other reviews here.

The staff, was only seen once. After that I called and called and nothing. I didn't get the towel until the next day, I had to wait over 1.5 hours for him to show up. He didn't even know the duration of my stay. If you only need a bed to sleep, and you bring your own supplies, then this works. If you're expecting service, it's a joke. I will not stay here ever again.

The property was not clean itself. The blankets felt like they haven’t been washed since ages. On of the locks of the main door was broken and could only be opened from the inside. The mats, kitchen, countertops were all dirty and not properly vacuumed or cleaned. The washroom was fine but still could see some hair on the sink or the bathtub. One major thing was that the owner was not helpful at al. He barely responded to any calls or our concerns. He told us we can call him anytime but never showed up or responded. Upon our arrival we had to wait for a while because he wasn’t opening the door and I could see the next day some guests were outside for hours because the owner didn’t show up at all. Upon our arrival, the owner knew it was 3 rooms with all family and told us to pay $30 per night for the third room because it has a washroom attached or else we’d be given a room downstairs and none of that was mentioned about the room on the website. Also upon arrival he will ask for $200 deposit and say that he will return but be cautious we did get it back but only after a lot of calls and messaging to show up at the time of our checkout. The area is also tight, noise at night, and conjusted parking.

I booked a shared room in Jersey City and had a really disappointing experience. The host was rude and unprofessional, and one of the biggest issues was being told after booking that I had to pay an additional $100 cash deposit or $150 if I wanted to pay it online. This was never clearly mentioned in the listing description or explained before I booked, so being asked for extra money afterward felt extremely shady and misleading. I even had to speak with the owner over the phone, and the conversation made the situation worse because it felt like he was trying to pressure me into paying more money than what I originally agreed to through Expedia. When you’re traveling, especially as a tourist, you expect all required fees and deposits to be clearly disclosed before you make a reservation, not brought up afterward. The amenities were also very disappointing. If you’re booking somewhere expecting basic accommodations, I would definitely look elsewhere. Towels and other basic necessities were not provided, and overall there really wasn’t much offered in terms of amenities. The bathroom was clean, which is probably the only positive thing I can say about the stay. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and frustrating from beginning to end. Between the host’s attitude, the unexpected deposit request, the lack of basic amenities, and the attempt to collect additional money that wasn’t disclosed in the listing, I would personally not recommend staying here. Worst Experience I’ve Ever Had – Would Not Recommend This was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I booked a one-night stay because I had an early flight the following morning. After paying for an Uber to get to the property, I arrived to check in and no one answered the door. I also attempted to call the property multiple times, and no one answered the phone. I was left stranded with no way to check in and had to find and pay for another hotel at the last minute so that I could have somewhere to stay before my early morning flight. This caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and additional transportation and hotel expenses. This was an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience. I paid for accommodations that I was never able to access or use, and I am currently awaiting a full refund. Based on my experience, I absolutely would not recommend this property. Travelers should be able to arrive at a confirmed reservation and, at the very least, have someone available to assist with check-in.
