I did not book an ADA room but was put in one. The shower wasn't great for me and my young daughter. The TV was wonderful and the room was very clean.

Security issue : Back door did not close completely unless guest pulls it closed and most did not do this. / Toilet. Was running when we walked into room. / Turned off water supply to toilet at 2am and notified front desk during checkout. / Gate to liquor store next was open .... Interesting ? ? / Staff very nice.

Wasn't aware that there was a pet fee, wasn't brought to my attention at the counter or through Expedia when I first booked the room. Pretty disappointed that they failed to mention that, will not use Best Western again. Other than that the hotel was clean and quiet and the front desk staff were friendly.

We are sorry that you were not told at check in about the pet fee. If you read through the hotel information on the site you booked on it does state there are pet fees, we have a sign at the front desk stating there are pet fees, the registration card you initialed and signed as well as the pet form you signed all state there is a 30 pet fee per dog per day. Again we are sorry that you were not verbally informed by the staff. Thank you for taking the time to give us a review.

Won’t come back
Room smelled like cigarettes and didn’t look like the photos at all. Also our air conditioning didn’t work and we were hot all night. Would not go back. Will say all the staff was really kind and the room was clean.

The Bestest Best Western
The best service I've ever received has been at the Best Western Newberg Inn. I look forward to my stays at. Staff is always a pleasure to speak with. They're kind, knowledgeable, patient, helpful, presentable, & sincere to highlight just a few of their qualities. They are easy going in a way that's friendly while maintaining a professional tone. They all seem to take pride in the work they do, whether that be housekeeping or serving breakfast. I have recommended this location to others countless times & will continue to do so. One stand-out employee is Kayla Kerr, one of the front desk managers. And I do not mean that she stands out in comparison to staff at the Best Western Newberg Inn. I'm saying that she exceeds expectations when compared to every single employee I've ever encountered in the hospitality industry globally & I don't suspect that this will ever change. I would consider her to be the gold standard. She is kind, helpful, personable, knowledgeable, she clearly is able to anticipate the needs of guests to ensure their stay is a pleasant & comfortable one that is as close to home as you can get. She has that rare combination of both intellectual and emotional intelligence that I don't believe can be taught to a person but rather is gifted to them either by some kind of genetic trait or perhaps something of a more divine nature depending on one's belief structure. If I was to say she is something of a unicorn, this would be a great compliment to unicorns.

The staff were nice and thoughtful. The receptionist brought out wine glasses when he saw we going to have some after a day out at some wineries. All the staff were friendly. Breakfast was very generous in options. Overall very nice stay.

Enjoyed our Stay
We were in Newberg to attend a family wedding. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Newberg. It was very well kept, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Other than the absolute fabulous staff that they had, the rest was a big disappointment. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable. The rugs were old and outdated, and look like they just couldn’t get clean. The bathrooms needed to be fixed, and the tub had chips in and other goop in it. The room smelled like someone went to the dollar store and got a lemon and orange spray and just dumped it all in the room. It was pretty overwhelming. They also have a Roku in the room, the remote says Netflix or YouTube but you can’t access either one. In fact, my phone would not even connect to the TV. I tried several times. sadly it was pretty much a disaster. Oh and I did not know you had to turn on the little fridge when you came in, I’ve never had that happen before so of course everything I put in was ruined. If it wasn’t for the staff being so the friendly I would have given this hotel a one star .
