โEverything was as described. Easy to follow instructions for checking in and ordering breakfast. Lovely that all the family are involved with very polite youngsters helping in the breakfast room. Breakfast choice was great and just what we needed for a day on the hills.โ
โNice sized room. Matt was such a friendly host. Made my wife and I a great breakfast. Very convenient location to the Keswick market. Only a 5 minute walk. 20 minute drive to Grasmere village. We would definitely stay here again. โ

โThe house is in a beautiful location and we were greeted by Alfie. We were made welcome from the very beginning and looked after well. Our twin room was perfect with amazing views. We were recommended a walk to the lake and took a picnic, beautiful scenery and incredibly relaxing. A must do! We were provided with a delicious cooked breakfast and fresh bread. We will absolutely be visiting again and we wished weโd stayed longer than 1 night. โ
โA well-equipped 2 bed apartment in Keswick town centre, but quiet - apart from emptying the bottle bins from the pub next door!
It was clean, tidy, well laid out with good quality linen and towels. There were one or two extra utensils that would have been handy in the kitchen, but it was well stocked with all the consumables you often have to buy from scratch.
Again, a minor point, but expecting departing guests to strip all bedding and bag up it all up with towels etc for the laundry under...
โSpent the first half hour hoovering cobwebs from bedrooms....toilet floor was damaged and spongy......little disappointing really because we've stayed in this block of cottages before.....โ
โThere is no lift in this hotel. Itโs an old Manor House.
All clean very spacious rooms , beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious. Very dog friendly
