“What an absolute gem of a place. We stayed as a family if four in the Grand Buree for two nights in Byron. This was quite possibly the best accommodation I have ever stayed at, and it was a great value for the luxury accomodation and location. “The location of this hotel is great because it is right in front of the beach. Also, room size is quite big. The most impressive thing for me is that there is a nice pool. My kid love swimming so we were so glad to enjoy swimming in the pool. Quite weird thing is that the price of the room is almost doubled when we tried to book additional one more night, but we can figured out because the biggest peak time came up. “The door cannot be key locked from the inside, only latched. This is not ok with small children. It is also a security issue. The barrel was missing so couldn't be fixed easily. The bathroom door handle got stuck and I had to jiggle it open. So everyone had to leave the door ajar. Cabin 174 is next to the fish and chips van. I could not open my windows due to the smell and conversations of people waiting and eating. Whilst it was respectful and not overly loud I definitely felt over looked....

“We booked a premium 2 bedroom villa. It totally exceeded our expectations. We needed help being shown how to lock the sliding door from the inside but apart everything was awesome. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The villa had everything we needed for a week. No oven but a stove yop and microwave. It was calming, warm, cool, cosy, soundproof. Highly recommended. Totally in the best location to access the shops and Wategoes, right in the middle.”
