“This was a splurge reservation at the end of our ten days in Tanzania. What a treat that was-especially after struggling with Internet and other “missing” items at other properties. Everything about the Neptune property was first rate from the furnishings to the food to the convenience and the staff. Yes, the price point was higher than we normally spend but truly if you get what you pay for, the price seems justified. At Neptune we received what we paid for and then some!”

“This place was a special place for us. The team at Karatu really were special who did out of their way to provide for us when there were issues, and when the first room seemed to have issues (shower drainage, bee hive on the roof, urine smell) they quickly changed the room to a better closer room, and always were helpful in arranging or finding different solutions for transportation issues etc. The place is located 2 hours from Arusha, and around 30 mins from the main gate for Ngorongoro crater....

“As the name would imply, the hotel is located uphill from the main street of the town. The rooms were spacious and were separated by a wall, so each person had their own section. The bathroom was an issue as the toilet, sink and shower were all in the same place, so that if someone had a shower, the whole floor would get wet. The wi-fi was inconsistent but worked better in the dining area. The restaurant had minimal options and you had to order what you wanted for the evening hours beforehand. I...
