"This hotel did not have their AC switched over, was fully aware of it, and did not notify us of this at all. In fact after spending 20 minutes fiddling with the thermostat I made a call to the front desk and was then told that the A/C was inoperable.
Keep in mind this is Victoria Day long weekend, people staying here are all families with young children, and it was over 30 degrees celsius.
They offered to bring a fan to my room and by the time we got back to the room around 9pm we realized there was no fan delivered. The room was unbearably hot. Our 6 month old was sweating profusely.
We ended up sleeping in our car. It was significantly cooler outside than it was in the hotel. When I complained to the hotel they told me that they could offer a 50% discount.
Had they at least notified us of what was happening we could've made arrangements to purchase a fan of our own and be better prepared.
Will not stay here again. It's obvious this hotel does not care about its patrons and will do what it can to profit off of people."
