"Honestly disappointing. It was supposed to be our honeymoon, so we booked a room with a hot tub, I will say the room looked decently similar to the photo. The room was very clean, the rest of the hotel appeared clean. The hotel was not cohesive, rooms renovated to look retro, the rest of the hotel looked like it was in time needing desperate maintenance, and very hotel horror movie vibes with how increasingly unsettling it felt after check in. The pool was closed which I wasn’t informed of previously. There was an over $30 destination fee which I was also unaware of. I was also told to fill out information using paper and pen in which I was not informed would be used to sign up for their rewards program which I didn’t consent to. The key card system was very outdated, sensitive and stopped working one night into our stay, so we had to talk to desk staff to correct. We sat on lobby couch for a couple minutes waiting on food delivery and after my husband got up I saw a moving bug on his back, which really gave me the ick. The “hotel” part of the plaza had an unappealing smell from the food next door inside plaza. Lack of soundproofing as you could distinctly hear the pipes when you or another room was using the hot tub. Carpeted floors near the hot tub. The somewhat convenient location with parking complex was beneficial. Substantially, better hotels in the area within the same budget."
