"very nice, clean, centrally located hotel. as a solo traveler, I didn't have any issues with my stay. although the rooms are not quite soundproofed because of the space on the door and floor, the guests were careful when closing their doors, so minimal sleep disturbance during my stay. breakfast option is highly recommended with good food. overall, I highly recommend."

Breakfast was good and very centrally located for transportation. 2 improvement- housekeeping should not be coming to room at 4:30/ 5 to service room- too late in the day esp. when we are gone all day. Concierge was useless- we asked several questions about food and how to get somewhere and got the same response- you can google it. Not sure what his purpose was."

"The highlight of our stay was definitely the rooftop. The atmosphere was great, and the live music was a really nice touch. It was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the evening. The hotel itself was quite clean, and overall the room served its purpose for our stay. However, there were a few things that could have been better. The phone in our room wasn’t working, and although we asked for someone to come and fix it, it was never repaired before we checked out. There also wasn’t an iron in the room, so we had to request one, although it was brought up to us. We booked a Premium Suite, but unfortunately, it didn’t really feel premium. The room was quite plain and didn’t have the elevated feel we expected from a premium category. Overall, it was a clean hotel with a nice rooftop and good atmosphere. It met our basic needs, but there is definitely room for improvement in the rooms and the attention to detail."

"I recently stayed at the Hotel Mercure Nice Promenade and had a mixed experience. On one hand, the hotel itself is wonderful. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Nice, and the room was spacious, clean, and modern, providing a very comfortable stay. Unfortunately, our first impression was ruined by a very rude check-in experience with one receptionist. She struggled to find our reservation, eventually finding it under my first name instead of my last name. She then insisted that the room had not been paid for. When I tried to show her my booking confirmation number and payment receipts, she completely dismissed my attempts. Once she finally handed over the keys, she never went over hotel amenities, breakfast hours and location or any other guest services. Aside from this initial encounter, all other hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout the rest of our stay. While the property and the rest of the team are excellent, the frontline customer service during check-in needs serious improvement."
