"This property is extremely well managed. The hotel itself is rather dated and during our stay the outdoor onsen was not accessible. However, the staff (from management to server) do their utmost to accomodate their guests. We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the service to the fullest."

"The room was clean, spacious, and beautiful. We stayed on the coconoe floor and we really enjoyed the lounge. The meals were incredible. Absolutely five stars and my regards to the chef! Unfortunately, it wasn't clear that the private onsen wasn't a guarantee. We were led to believe it was a guarantee if we booked this floor. This really affected our experience because it was one of the main reasons for booking. We also booked a mountain view room and recieved a city view. When we tried to talk to the front desk about these issues the staff didn't speak English and nothing was resolved. Very disappointing since we spent more than $600 CAD for this experience and we didn't get the exact experience we paid for."
