โGreat hotel and in a quiet location. The bathroom glass door and some of the wall is not good - that would be the only item that let this hotel down - but otherwise a great hotel. โ
โHotel short walk from station run by young couple keen to make a difference. Oozes character, surrounded by historic architecture and fits right in. Cafes, restaurants, pubs close at hand with lots of shopping close to hand. I nipped down a nearby alley each morning to enjoy a great riverside walk to the park and home for breakfast.โ
โVery satisfied with our stay a fan was provided in the room with the weather being so warm, nothing was too much trouble, room cosy comfy bed and the pub just downstairs very handy, definitely be staying again.โ
โGood location, short walk into the centre. It has parking at the rear, although it could be a little tight if full. Only one word to describe the staff: AMAZING, so friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean, a little on the small side, but it wasnโt an issue; the shower had good water pressure. The food in the restaurant was very good and worth staying in for.
The hotel garden backs onto a beautiful park and is a three minute walk to cafes and shops (some of these appear to be shut on Tuesdays, but there were enough open to make a trip worthwhile).
If you have accessibility issues make sure you request a downstairs room as there are no lifts.

โLovely gem of an Inn. Great location and the hosts are super. Our dogs were looked after and they enjoyed the treats they sell and the dinner they had when we had our dinner. Highly recommend โ
