Our stay at Silver Lake was wonderful, Hanna & John were perfect hosts and have done a great job with renovating both the hotel and The Jolly Roger! The room was spacious and well appointed with all needs met. The newly added rockers and side tables on the porch were enjoyable and the resort Bicycles made getting around a fun experience.

Over the past 5 years we have had occasion to stay at The Lodge many times and it never disappoints. In a word, the Lodge is comfortable. Everything is easy from the parking to the check in to the nice breakfast. The rooms allow for storing food you might have brought with you in a nice size fridge with a decent freezer area. The beds are firm and very comfortable. If you are lucky you might get checked in by the owner who is a great guy and very accommodating. Again, the operative word is...

This is a beautiful and friendly property. The room was comfortable, everything (TV, bathroom facilities, etc.) worked, and the entire facility was very clean. During our visit, Hurricane Helene moved across the area, and the hotel lost power. The staff did everything they could to make sure everyone was safe. When we left, the property had no damage despite high winds and flooding rainfall. At checkout, the staff could not print a receipt for us but promised to email us one when the electricity...

Stumbled upon this place by rates with bundle package. Had some hesitation based on non-major chain name. Was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Kitchen area was excellent for stay.
Pros: Quiet area, parking area appears secured, concession area was stocked and variety of options, large commin area with 1 computer access.
Cons: Wi-Fi was mediocre and was not stable based on where my room was located. Compared to big chain experience.
Otherwise, it was a good stay and i would recommend to...

Hotel was very convenient to sporting event location. Convenience store and gas station in the same plaza lot a huge plus. Everything was clean, service and staff were super nice.
Many of the tv channels gave an error message, but there were so many it really didn't matter.
Breakfast was well done too.
we will definitely stay here again.
