“Even though we didn't use the public transports, there were tramsline and bus stop close by. Walking to arndale shopping centre was around 10 minutes”

“What a lovely hotel Free upgrade to superior double. Big in size clean beautiful decor. Bed comfortable, slept like a baby. Would recommend Half hour walk into down, £7.00 for a taxi back. Did mot have breakfast so cannot comment on this”

“I really liked this hotel. It has a very industrial feel to it with exposed piping and unpainted plaster wall. Don’t go here if you are looking for a Hilton type hotel but if you are looking for something a bit different I would recommend giving it a go. I would definitely book here again.”

“Friendly, helpful staff, excellent facilities in the room. The "executive suite" was clean, spacious and comfortable and the bathroom had a powerful, good shower that was easy to control. To be picky, the room was not terribly well finished and there were corner cutting details in the workmanship that you wouldnt find in the very best hotels. However, overall very comfortable and flexible accommodation that was also excellent value. I took my aunt to Crosby Beach to see the Gormley work but...

“The food and beverages were excellent and the Castaway bar does great cocktails (had a Clop special whilst we were there). Breakfast choice is good and service is quick. It is easy to access the town centre and docks from the Liner Hotel.”

“They do provide or offer even water in the room , it looks like it was a service apartment and not a hotel . Also for Breakfast they do not have any vegetarian options and you just need to depend on breads and fruits The location of the hotel is good . ”

“In the city for a concert and the Dixie Dean was an ideal base for the weekend. We had a 'luxury' room, with two massive beds and the bath was the size of a swimming pool!! The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of selection and regularly stocked up. The waiters didn't stop with topping up coffees and clearing up promptly. High recommended if you're in the city.”
