"I visited this property on Sun., May 24th. Check-in is at 3PM but I arrived early. Worker at front desk told me there was no early check-in, which I understood. I came back at 2:50 thinking she could begin the check-in process. I was told to wait the additional 10 mins, which I did. When I got checked in and started putting my things away, I realized the worker had put me in a handicapped room so I went back downstairs to address it since I booked through Expedia and didnt reserve this type of room. Worker told me that was all she had available and when I requested a refund, she told that I had to wait for a manager. I told her I would just submit a review. With it being Memorial Day weekend and people checking in, I'm sure there could have been a veteran or someone who is actually disabled who could have used the room but she felt it was perfectly fine to put me, an able-bodied woman in this room. I apologize on her behalf if she prevented anyone who needed this type of room from being able to get it. I'm glad it was just a one night stay. I've stayed at this property numerous times, have always booked a King Kitchenette room and have never had a problem. This worker needs to be reprimanded. I didn't get her name but she worked the front desk on the day mentioned above. I will definitely have second thoughts about staying here in the future."
