"Lodge Quelana is a beautiful place to stay. It's outside if town, so you have the opportunity to see the clear night skies from their observation deck. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the breakfast had a great variety. To get into town, you need to drive, but the peace and quiet is worth it. After all, the town is not why you would come to the area; it's the landscape and the stargazing."

Is a charming property but is quite old, don’t expect luxury or even high comfort (to an American standard), but to be fair, is quiet good compared with other hotels in the area. "Hotel Kimal is a fabulous place as a relaxing and convenient base for your San Pedro de Atacama adventures! The staff are friendly and helpful and the courtyard and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Someone put a lot of thought and care into building and maintaining this hotel. The breakfast that comes with your stay is a marvelous and varied buffet of fresh breads and fruit, yogurt and toppings, and made to order eggs. The restaurant is excellent! "

"This hotel is a beautiful property located in an amazing town. The property is immaculate, well maintained and very comfortable. We love the minimalist aspect of the room including the pleasing absence of a television. The staff is very professional and very helpful. Each days activities required a box lunch and each day this was ready for us before we left no matter how early.
