“Terrific little historic hotel with a lot of vintage charm. Right downtown -- walking distance to the river, nearby casinos, and (in our case) the Mudbug Madness Festival. The staff was particularly warm and inviting -- offering terrific local advise and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This place should be on your radar screen when visiting Shreveport!”

“Really enjoyed my stay. My daughter and I felt very safe all during our stay. I appreciated the enclosed parking garage because it rained both days. I liked the selection of restaurants and the variety of food choices. The casinos we very clean and well attended. I was happy we had the option of self checkout. I would recommend the Horseshoe to anyone. ”

“We enjoyed margaritaville shreveport. We dined on property at Jimmys- the waiter Chris was stand up. We only stayed one night but it was a great location, safe secure parking with a valet option. The ladies at the front desk were prompt to assist all guests as they arrived. We also had complimentary drinks in our room- was nice added touch! The room had a lovely balcony with a river view. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to family and friends. ”
