A Hidden Gem in Nungwi!

Terry’s Villa is truly a hidden gem! The location is perfect — just a quick 2-minute walk to the beach, close enough to enjoy the ocean but tucked away for peace and quiet. The breakfast was absolutely amazing every morning — fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes, and delicious juice. Danny and Tabitha made sure we were well taken care of the entire stay. They’re so kind and helpful, and Danny can even accompany you on excursions or help plan local trips if you want an authentic experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with good Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Zanzibar!

Terry Villa is a hidden gem! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the stunning views and tranquil atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. I particularly enjoyed the delicious meals served at the restaurant, which featured fresh, local ingredients. The pool area was a great place to relax and soak up the sun. I highly recommend Terry Villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. Also the manager was soo friendly shivji sanatu he is the best..he made sure i have all what i needed for my stay..

Terry’s Villa Zanzibar

It was a great stay, the staff is amazing especially the manager! I strongly recommend a stay at Terrys Villa if you want to experience Hakuna Matata! Very close to the beach but still secluded and private!

I arrived from the airport to the hotel at 3AM! They had a room ready for me but the lights were off the shower didn’t have water and the air conditioning wasn’t working because. Of a power outage! They then moved me to another room that had all the same problems as the first room. I couldn’t sleep there it was 38 degrees Celsius in the room which is 100 Fahrenheit! I asked to leave at 6 am and they refused to open the gates of the hotel until I paid them! I had to argue and fight with them to let me leave and then they finally opened the gates and I walked on a dirt road for 15 minutes until I got to the next closest hotel! I’m now staying at the Yasa Boutique Hotel and they have a back up generator and all the proper amenities to be able to have a good time on vacation!
