Great base for a city break

Great central hotel with friendly and helpful staff. View from our room was amazing. No lifts so wouldn’t be suitable if you have mobility issues

dasPaul is perfectly located to explore Old Town Nuremberg! We found the hotel clean and secure- especially with the virtual registration. The restaurant was conveniently located on the ground floor. Most of the Old Town attractions are a few minutes walk from the hotel in one direction and many nice stores for shopping a few steps in the opposite direction.

Beautiful place to stay

The hotel is very clean. The rooms are a nice size for 2 people and the balcony was an extra added bonus! There is no elevator so keep that in mind when packing! The location is perfect along the river. Beautiful views of the city and an easy walk to the train. The breakfast was delicious also!

location is perfect, when you love downtown, nice room, comfy bed, great shower we enjoyed our stay and breakfast, but we were not happy, that we booked 2 rooms, but we ended up being in 2 different houses, our room was on 4 th floor (no elevator) and my daughter was in another building, wondering??

Sophistication with comfort.

Great location, easy check in. Two minor things - really could do with an elevator. Also need an electric jug in room. Otherwise well appointed, very clean, modern and comfortable. Has a sophisticated vibe.

The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of major attractions and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and the view from our window/balcony was amazing. The hotel and the room were clean and we really enjoyed the A/C in the room. I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely book it again the next time we visit Nuremberg!

Gewollt aber leider nicht gekonnt

Ich mag digitale Check-In und digitale Schlüssel eigentlich nicht, dies hat aber wirklich sehr gut funktioniert! Zimmer und öffentliche Bereiche sind nur mittelmäßig sauber, vieles ist wirklich schon sehr abgewohnt. Wir hatten eine Rate mit Frühstück, als wir um 9:15 zu Frühstück kamen sagte man uns es gäbe keinen Platz, dies sei unsere Schuld - wir hätten ja nicht reserviert und da es nur bis 10 Frühstück gäbe bekämen wir auch nichts mehr - unser Pech. Dies wurde in keiner der vielen emails kommuniziert und ist absolut inakzeptabel. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und bemühte sich sehr um eine Lösung, der Herr an der Bar war einfach nur peinlich unhöflich und unrational.

Nie mehr Hotel buchen über Hotels.com

Die Kritik richtet sich eigentlich gegen "Hotels.com": In der Hotelbeschreibung fehlt völlig: 1. Hotel liegt in der Fußgängerzone und kann auch nicht zum Koffer-Entladen angefahren werden. Man muss in irgendwelchen, z.T. mehrere 100 m entfernten Parkhäuser parken und mit dem Koffer durch die Stadt gurken. 2. Nicht erwähnt wird, dass das Hotel über keinen Lift verfügt. Man muss also - wie wir - seinen Koffer über drei Treppen in die 3. Etage schleppen. 3. Auch der Check-In (rein elektronisch bzw. vorher online) hat uns nicht gefllen.
