“We spent two nights here and we were comfortable even though the room was basic. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely. There’s a steep climb back home after going down to the main street, so you will give your calves a good stretch, but it’s worth it for the view of Little Adam’s Peak that you get in the morning. Overall a very good choice of accommodation in a small, quiet guesthouse. ”

He also has a small store nearby with a lovely helpful family. He is a gentleman. The host family are just beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble. “This stay is very close walk to/from the train station with plenty of food options. This was a perfect place to have a quick stay before heading in to Yala. This family business is very charming and extremely friendly! They were very accommodating during our stay and even packed us breakfast when we had a quick morning check out! ”

Warm water was available but I had to bath from tap as water pressure from showerhead was too weak. “The biggest problem with this hotell was to find it. Our taxidriver asked tuc-tuc-drivers and lokal people, and no one knew the location of the hotel. They had'nt even heard of it. We drow around for half an hour. No signs along the road, not even when we were near by. When we walked back after dinner in the town, there where no lightening near by so that we could be sure to walk the right way. The room was clean, but we missed a small table beside the bed. There were no aircon or heating, so...

“This place was a disgrace to the name hotel and to hotel.com. The building is old and neglected and there is only one room for rental. The room is very dirty and very dark. Many of the fixtures in the bathroom are broken. The water pressure is very low and there is little hot water. The only staff member present 24 hours a day is a young boy of 17. The hotel is in a run-down poverty-stricken area far from the center. As of that wasn't enough there is a Buddhist temple nearby that starts...
