"Room and facility clean. Breakfast options good. Bed very comfy. Hot water cannister not working for tea in lobby. Refilled and pump part not working. Shower drain backed up, flooded at feet over ankles. Pool only opens at 2 pm! Most staff very nice. "

"Some Front Desk personnel were not well trained. Didn't know the business office in lobby area had functioning computer/print capability... Told a business associate who arrived for a meeting that I had checked out of the hotel while I was still in occupancy and having breakfast in the atrium.... Waited a long time for our reserved room to be cleared for occupancy at late afternoon check in. Corporate event occupying atrium was very noisy up in our interior facing room until about 11pm. Breakfast in the atrium was excellent."

"Overall, I was impressed, the room, location and parking yeah I feel it was a great choice. However, I wanted to mention that I experienced an issue with the hot water during the evening. It took a significant amount of time for the water to warm up while showering. But again I was impressed and would probably stay again when visiting NYC."

"I come to New York around this time annually to go to the Hip Hop Ed Conference. I choose to stay at Opera House instead of a closer hotel because of the beauty of the hotel and how nice the staff is. Zue is usually who I'm greeted by year after year and she is kind and knowledgeable. Give that lady a raise! I'll be back next year!"

"Great choices for breakfast! And very clean room indeed with a fully functional kitchen for the room we booked. If I have to point out something that can be improved: 1) 5 parking slots for electric vehicles but only three chargers. It would be nice to have 5 chargers or at least some way that the reception can notify the owner to unlock the plug so another car owner can use it when their charging is completed. 2) water pressure of the shower not strong enough. but again, it is still understandable because of water-saving shower heads everywhere now."
