“The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. “It has only been 2 months since my last stay here and it was as good as ever. Staff as always were really friendly and make you feel at home. I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening meal as well as a great breakfast. A decent night's sleep set me up for the day and I look forward to coming back here.”

“The room was of a good standard. Where the place was was perfect for me. I never saw the owner, I had a text that I can let myself in and the key was at the bedroom door. Very efficient and communication excellent. Having no breakfast was no problem as you have all facilities in, at least, 2 mins walk away. I will be returning.”
