The hotel is very conveniently located, pretty much on top of the main station. It's only a 10-15min walk from the city centre, and everything you will need for attractions, entertainment and food, is within this radius. The room was reasonably priced; well-stocked; comfortable, and clean. The check in and out processes were easy, and the staff were very polite. Overall, I had a nice time here, and I would stay here again if I returned to Odense.

I spent four nights at Danhostel and had a great experience. The accommodation is in a strategic location—very close to the station and just a short walk from the city center. The option to cook and the shared common area in the basement are big advantages. Last but not least, the staff were always kind and helpful, accommodating different needs, including a late check-in.

This was the first time in my life I’ve checked into a place specifically designed for sleeping and been told, “Oh, you want sheets? That’ll be extra.” At that point I genuinely wondered if I also needed to bring my own toilet seat aswell. The shower joined in on the fun by taking a solid 10 minutes to heat up, just long enough for me to contemplate all my life choices, the future of humanity, and whether penguins have knees… The walls were so thin I basically got to know my neighbors on an emotional level. On the bright side, the receptionist was actually lovely, and check-in/check-out was smoother than the bed sheets I paid extra for.

We only slept, the only problem you can not park a car to unpack or manage a suitcase in the hostel. Paid park place is nearby 150 meters. There is only explanation in Danisch.

Do NOT stay here. This is the most horrible experience I ever have in my life. There are lots of hidden fees. I was overcharged 250. The person at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. The room is cold, dirty, and smelly. I can hear clearly from the room next to me. Expedia is on the hotel side and not customer side. Do NOT stay here!!!

Overall ok but extremely noisy (from the street)

The hostel is ok overall but it was very warm in the room during summer even with windows opened. When the windows are opened, it is facing directly in front of the bus stop and streets (only few steps distance) which is extremely noisy. We hear everything, somehow there are different groups of people partying the whole night on the street with loud music and we didn't get any sleep at all. If we shut the windows, we start sweating. If we open, we get the loud noise. Suggestion: Provide a small table fan during summer. It will help with both heat and noise.

Hotellet var slidt og så lidt tarveligt ud. Sengene var OK at sove i, og der var rimeligt rent på værelset. Måske bare fordi det var meget slidt med mærker og ridser på vægge og døre at det virkede lurvet.
